Online payment services for EU, UK and Commonwealth merchants.
BazPay is a direct online payment services provider for EU, UK and Commonwealth e-commerce sellers, subscription software firms and professional-services businesses. Acceptance, recurring billing, payouts, fraud controls and reporting come from one platform under one contract.
Direct regional acquiring on our own licence, named MID per merchant and interchange++ reporting. A named onboarding manager stays on the account after go-live, so support is a person you know — not a shared inbox.
Why merchants pick BazPay as their online payment services provider
Four things stay true whether you take a hundred euros a day or several million. They are the reasons product, engineering and finance teams stay on one platform after boarding is done.
-
One provider, one contract
Acceptance, billing, payouts, fraud and reporting come from one online payment services provider — BazPay — under a direct regional contract. No reseller layer, no aggregated MID, no vendor sprawl.
-
Small-team-friendly integration
One REST endpoint, one signed webhook stream, four ready plugins for the common regional storefronts. Small businesses can go live in days without a full engineering team on payments.
-
Predictable regional underwriting
Direct regional acquiring on a defined merchant list. Named onboarding manager rather than a black-box risk decision — you know who owns your account from the first call.
-
Reporting your finance team trusts
Interchange++ line detail on every settled transaction. Refunds, chargebacks and payouts reconcile against the source, not against a blended vendor summary.
The four services in the bundle
Acceptance, billing, payouts and risk sit on one platform. Each is a distinct online payment service in its own right, and each is reachable from the same REST endpoint and the same signed-webhook stream.
-
Acceptance
Card, wallet and APM acceptance
The core online payment service: authorise card payments on our own regional acquiring licence, alongside Apple Pay, Google Pay and local payment methods on the same integration.
- Visa
- Mastercard
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- iDEAL
- Bancontact
-
Billing
One-off and recurring billing
Charge once, charge on a plan, or bill on metered usage. Card-on-file, network-tokenised renewals and dunning-aware retries handle subscription-style revenue.
- One-off
- Plans
- Metered
-
Payouts
Merchant and beneficiary payouts
SEPA and SEPA Instant to your named local settlement account by default. Push-to-card and SWIFT are available on approved corridors for beneficiary or supplier payouts.

- SEPA Instant
- Push-to-card
-
Risk
Fraud, 3-D Secure and dispute services
Inline rule engine, 3-D Secure 2.2 with exemption logic and dispute defence with scheme-templated evidence packs. Every risk decision travels with the payment.
- Rules
- 3DS2
- Disputes
Method depth on card and APM processing. Bank rails on open banking. Vertical bundles on payments solutions. Related surface across the cluster: payment services, payment processors and gateway services.
How the service goes live
Six stages sit between discovery and steady-state operations. Each stage is trackable in the dashboard, and the named onboarding manager stays with you across every one.
-
Discovery
Share your business model, volumes, markets and stack. A payments specialist maps the service scope before boarding starts.
-
Underwriting
KYC and merchant review. Documents, ownership and revenue model are reviewed against the underwriting policy for your vertical.
-
Provision
A named MID is opened with the schemes for your legal entity. Sandbox and live credentials are issued, plus dashboard access for your teams.
-
Integrate
One REST endpoint, one signed-webhook secret and hosted fields for the checkout. Plugins cover the common regional commerce stacks.
-
Go live
Test in sandbox, replay declines and 3-D Secure paths, then flip the API key. Real-time analytics show approval quality from the first hour.
-
Ongoing service
Named onboarding manager stays on the account. Rule and payout-cadence changes ship from the dashboard, no engineering release required.
Direct provider vs aggregator
An aggregator or reseller PSP routes your traffic through a downstream acquirer under a shared MID. Fast to sign, and it costs you afterwards in reporting, chargeback attribution and settlement timing. The comparison below explains where a direct online payment services provider earns its keep.
| Dimension | BazPay (direct) | Aggregator PSP |
|---|---|---|
| Contract | Direct with BazPay as acquirer | Aggregator or reseller PSP |
| MID structure | Named MID per merchant | Shared/aggregated MID |
| Onboarding | Named onboarding manager | Self-serve, generic policy |
| Fraud engine | Inline, dashboard-configurable | Bolt-on subscription |
| Recurring billing | Native to the platform | Separate biller + token |
| Reporting | Interchange++ line detail | Blended summary |
| Dispute tooling | Built in, evidence templates included | Manual across vendors |

Features that come with every online payment service
Every capability below is on the standard integration. Turn features on with a request flag or a dashboard toggle — no enterprise-tier gate on the primitives.
-
Hosted fields
Card, expiry and CVC inputs served from our PCI environment inside your checkout, keeping your annual return at merchant SAQ A.
-
Gateway-side vault
Store credentials once inside our PCI DSS Level 1 scope and reuse them across renewals, upgrades and one-click purchases.
-
3-D Secure 2.2 engine
Frictionless flow first; PSD2 exemption logic claims TRA, low-value, trusted-beneficiary and MIT where the rules allow.
-
Signed webhooks
HMAC-signed, replay-protected events for every charge, refund, dispute and payout — one signature scheme across every service.
-
Idempotent API
Retry-safe create requests keyed to your idempotency header. A network blip never becomes a double charge.
-
SEPA and SEPA Instant
Direct participation for merchant payouts in supported corridors. SWIFT and push-to-card available on approved routes.
-
Interchange++ reporting
Every settled transaction breaks out interchange, scheme fees and the acquirer margin for line-level reconciliation.
-
Named onboarding manager
A human owner for the account, not a shared support inbox. Merchants know who they escalate to from day one.
One API for every online payment service
The charge object is the unit of work. One endpoint authorises, captures and refunds. Subscriptions and payouts share the same signing secret, idempotency contract and webhook envelope, so your engineering team maintains one integration surface across every part of the service.

Who these online payment services fit
BazPay boards merchants across the EU, UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand across four profiles. The default configuration for each profile is applied at boarding and adjustable from the dashboard afterwards.
-
Small businesses
Online payment services for small businesses selling through their own storefront: one contract, published pricing, no minimum monthly commitment beyond scheme fees.
-
Subscription software
SaaS teams billing monthly and annual plans with card-on-file, dunning-aware retries and MIT exemptions on renewals — recurring service under one API.
-
Professional services
Agencies, consultancies and service firms — including private clinics, tuition-billing and membership-driven organisations — invoicing higher-ticket work with enforced 3-D Secure 2 over a threshold you set.
-
Publishers and non-profits
Online payment services for websites, membership renewals and single-issue purchases. Suitable for regulated non-profit and professional-services entities collecting one-off donations or paid memberships under a normal merchant contract.
Out of scope for BazPay: adult, gambling, CBD, nutraceutical, forex, CFD, crypto-exchange, debt-collection and MLM. BazPay is not an escrow provider and does not act as a marketplace of third-party PSPs.
Security and compliance signals
The service runs inside a PCI DSS Level 1 environment assessed each year. Hosted fields and gateway-side vaulting keep your annual return at merchant SAQ A. Authentication runs on every card charge with automatic exemption logic where the rules allow.

Questions merchants ask first
What kind of online payment services provider is BazPay?
BazPay is a direct regional acquirer and payment gateway operated by NEWERA PAYMENT TECHNOLOGIES LTD. It provides acceptance, recurring billing, payouts, fraud controls and reporting as one bundled service so a merchant does not have to piece together several vendors to reach a working online payment stack.
Are the online payment services for small businesses different from the enterprise offer?
The technical platform is the same. Small businesses benefit from published pricing, self-service sandbox access and ready-made plugins for WooCommerce, Magento 2, PrestaShop and Shopware, so a shop can start taking test traffic in an afternoon. Named-account boarding is available across every merchant size.
Does BazPay offer online payment services for websites and hosted checkout?
Yes. Hosted checkout pages and drop-in fields render inside our PCI environment, so a website can accept cards and local payment methods without handling PAN data. The same integration covers Apple Pay, Google Pay and open-banking pay-by-bank flows.
Can non-profits, schools or churches use BazPay online payment services?
Regulated non-profit organisations, professional-services entities (including private schools, tuition-billing operators and membership-driven organisations) can be boarded as merchants collecting recurring dues, event fees or one-off donations under a standard merchant contract. Underwriting reviews each application individually. Purely charitable structures with unusual accounting arrangements are handled case by case.
Are online payment escrow services in scope?
No. BazPay is a payment gateway and regional acquirer, not an escrow provider. Funds settle directly from our acquiring balance to the merchant's own local settlement account — we do not hold them in trust, mediate marketplace disputes between buyer and seller, or release payments against contract milestones. Merchants that need escrow arrangements should work with a licensed escrow agent alongside BazPay.
Which merchant types are in scope for BazPay's online payment services?
Merchants across the EU, UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand: e-commerce sellers, subscription software firms, professional-services businesses (agencies, consultancies, service providers, private clinics, tuition-billing organisations) and digital publishers. BazPay does not board adult, gambling, CBD, nutraceutical, forex, CFD, crypto-exchange, debt-collection or MLM merchants.
How are online payment services priced?
Card processing is priced on interchange++, so scheme fees, interchange and the BazPay margin appear as separate lines on every settled transaction. Local payment methods, payouts and recurring billing carry their own per-transaction fees. Current schedules and any minimums live on the pricing page.
What service and support arrangements come with the account?
Every merchant is assigned a named onboarding manager who stays on the account. Dashboard access is available for product, engineering and finance teams. Rule, retry and payout-cadence changes are self-service through the dashboard, and take effect on the next order — no ticket queue for standard configuration work.
